Generate product mockups with Cursor
Connect Cursor to SudoMock and render product mockups from the editor. Add the remote MCP server to your Cursor configuration, sign in once, and the agent can list your templates, render them with new artwork and text, and put the result into your code. Start with 500 credits, then choose a published monthly volume plan.
Cursor reads the same account and credits as the API, so a render the agent makes while you build is billed exactly as the one your app will make in production.
Add SudoMock to Cursor
Put this in ~/.cursor/mcp.json for every project, or in .cursor/mcp.json for one. Cursor then asks you to sign in to SudoMock in the browser; no key goes into the file.

The render Cursor sends
Ask for a render in plain words and Cursor sends one tool call like this. It composites your design into the PSD template and returns a finished image URL, with Smart Objects, blend modes, smart filters, and perspective warp rendered from your real file.

How it works
- 1Add the server to mcp.json and sign in to SudoMock when Cursor asks.
- 2Ask the agent for a mockup, or to add the render call to your code.
- 3The agent returns the finished image URL, or waits on the job when the render runs asynchronously.
Personalize text in the same call
SudoMock renders the text layers in your PSD, so you can swap the wording, font, size, and color at render time and get back an image that keeps the look the designer built.
- 2,000+ open-licensed font families, free for commercial use
- Custom TTF and OTF font upload, up to 5 MB each, on Pro and Scale
- Styled segments: mixed-style layers stay editable run by run
- Box text: area text wraps inside its box and clips exactly as designed

Edit one mixed-style layer, run by run
When a single layer mixes styles, like a thin first name next to a bold surname, send a segments array with only the runs you want to change. Every run keeps its own font, size, and color, and any run you leave out stays as designed. This bundle of catalog, custom upload, per-segment styling, and box wrap over the API is what sets the text layers apart.

Frequently asked questions
How do I add SudoMock to Cursor?
Add a sudomock entry with the url https://mcp.sudomock.com under mcpServers in ~/.cursor/mcp.json or .cursor/mcp.json. Cursor asks you to sign in to SudoMock in the browser, and no API key is stored in the file.
Does the Cursor agent use my real templates?
Yes. After sign-in it lists the PSD templates and photo mockups on your account and renders them, so the ids it writes into your code are the ones that exist.
Can the Cursor agent edit text on a template?
The render_psd_mockup tool takes a text_layers list that changes wording, font, size, and color on named layers. The catalog carries 2,000+ open-licensed font families.
