Overview
This cutting board mockup template set includes six camera angles of a light-colored maple wood cutting board photographed in studio and lifestyle settings. The boards shown are plain, unfinished maple with no prints or graphics on the surface. The white-to-cream wood grain is visible across all angles, providing a natural base surface for design composition via Smart Object layers. The template set covers overhead, elevated, lifestyle, macro detail, side profile, and handle-focused perspectives.
What the Mockup Shows
The first image is a direct overhead flat-lay shot of a near-square maple cutting board centered on a light blue-gray background. The board has rounded corners, visible horizontal and vertical grain lines running across the surface, and a single circular hole cut into the upper-right corner for hanging. The wood tone is pale cream with subtle amber grain patterns.
The second image shows a rectangular maple cutting board with an integrated handle at the top. The handle features a circular cutout hole. This board is photographed from a slightly elevated angle against a light studio background. Several small round knots are visible in the pine or softwood surface, with straight vertical grain lines running the length of the board.
The third image is a kitchen lifestyle shot. Two cutting boards lean against a white wall on a marble countertop. One is a lighter, smaller board with a simple handle and hanging hole; the other is a slightly larger board in a warmer maple tone with a wider paddle-style handle. Fresh herbs (parsley and dill) sit to the left, and two yellow lemons rest near the boards. Natural window light casts diagonal shadows across the scene.
The fourth image is a close-up detail shot of a rectangular maple cutting board with a routed juice groove running along the perimeter. The overhead perspective shows the full board surface with pronounced curly maple or figured grain patterns. The grain detail is clearly visible: tight horizontal lines intersecting with vertical growth rings, creating a crosshatch texture characteristic of quartersawn maple.
The fifth image is a side profile view of a rectangular cutting board with a juice groove, propped at an angle against a neutral gray studio background. The edge thickness is visible, showing approximately 3/4-inch solid wood construction. The routed groove channel is visible from this angle. Straight, even grain lines run horizontally across the face.
The sixth image shows a paddle-style cutting board with a narrow handle and a small circular hanging hole at the top. The board is photographed from a slight angle against a light studio background, with a soft shadow on the left side. A single small knot is visible near the upper portion of the board. The wood grain is fine and straight, consistent with maple or beech.
Technical Details
All six images use studio or controlled lighting conditions with light backgrounds ranging from pale blue-gray to neutral gray. The cutting board surfaces are plain and light-toned, suitable for design overlay using Normal blend mode for hard surface rendering. The visible wood grain texture across all angles means designs placed via API will sit on top of the natural wood pattern.
