Normal blend mode is recommended for hard-surface products like stainless steel tumblers. Unlike fabric mockups that use Multiply to show textile texture through the design, metal tumblers have an opaque surface where designs sit cleanly on top. SudoMock supports all 27 Photoshop blend modes, but Normal preserves design color accuracy on the white powder-coated surface.
The entire white powder-coated exterior surface from just below the stainless steel rim band to the base serves as the design placement zone. On a standard 20oz tumbler, the sublimation print area is approximately 9.2 inches wide by 8 inches tall for a full wrap. The tapered shape means the top circumference is slightly larger than the base, which should be accounted for in wrap template sizing.
